Last Week On Who’s That Chelle’s Facebook Page

Hey everyone! Here’s what was going on last week on my Facebook Page! Laughter is the best medicine and I wanted to share some of the funny videos which had me in stitches.  I’d love to have you join us over there! Hit like on the side. 🙂

Mama Kat’s Writing Workshop Prompt

One of the prompts for this week from Mama’s Losin’ It! is right up my alley. I chose:  Do you love YouTube? Share five of your all time favorite YouTube videos. Choosing which prompt I wanted to do was the easy part. Having to narrow down my favorite videos to a mere 5 was the hard part.

5. I can remember being a little girl and just singing my heart out when this song came on the radio. Of course, it didn’t really matter to me what The Manhattan’s song was about. I just liked the lyrics. However, I did think the song was about a man having to let his maid go. Don’t ask me how I came up with this but it did give me a good chuckle when, as an adult, I heard the song again and understood what it was really about.

4. If you read my blog, you know I like me some Tequila! No feet discrimination, I say!

3. Remember when you were just starting out with make-up? Did anyone else start off with the light blue and pink eye shadow?? Man, that was so popular when I was in Junior High. I think what makes me chuckle about men and make-up, is how much they don’t pay attention to the process we go through. Even when their wife does make-up videos.

2. One motivational speaker I NEVER get tired of listening to is Les Brown. I follow him on Twitter and have liked his Facebook page. Recently, he started a group on Facebook and I was excited to get an invite to the group.

1. I came across Katie Piper’s story as I was browsing through YouTube one day. Katie had the misfortune of meeting a man who changed her life in a way you wouldn’t imagine. Although Katie had a tough time at some points, she managed to turn things around and share her struggles with the world. I admire people like Katie because sometimes, just sometimes, it’s the not just the power of thought but having the strength to have that power.

Venting & Jibbering

Today is one of those days where I’ve had random thoughts going through my mind.

Venting: When you lie about things like: (true story)
Calling into work with this excuse: My child was seriously injured while at the playground and is in the hospital with a bad head injury. It doesn’t look good.

And run with it for two weeks until you come in and say: He died.
Just to find out: You initially called in because you wanted that day off.

And guess what, your son was NEVER injured and he’s still very much ALIVE! Hope you enjoyed spending the money people donated to you to help with funeral expenses. From what I hear,  your girlfriend enjoyed the gifts she got out of it!

(I’m ALWAYS amazed when I see her “dead” son walking around and getting older!)

And another thing people: When you CONSTANTLY lie, and raise your kids to lie, why, why are you surprised your kids LIE? If it’s that hard to speak the truth, just don’t SPEAK!

Okay, I have that out of way. Moving on………………….

sweating Pictures, Images and Photos Today is a HOT day. It’s one of those: You- melt- the- second- you- walk- out- the- door. And that was before 10 AM. I came very close to running a yellow light just so I could keep the breeze going through the car windows. Instead, I sat at the light, sweating up a storm. I don’t perspire lady-like in any kind of way. I’m a true: watch the water fall flow from my face kinda gal. As I was proudly displaying my water fall it made me think about Jackie. She and I use to work at the post laundry. Granted, I worked in the office in the AC but Jackie worked in the plant with the hot dryers running and the press giving off even more heat. NO AC in the plant.
Summers in Missouri are H-O-T!!!!!!!! Jackie worked on the press line. I would have to get/bring tickets to the plant. Everyone, except >> Jackie, would be drenched in sweat. Jackie would not have ONE  drop of sweat on her. Her make-up was beautiful; not sliding down her face like it should have been. Jackie said she never sweat like other people. I think I make up for her not sweating. Hmmmmm

I have NOT been a good neighbor on my Facebook games these last few weeks. I’m looking at my requests, thinking: Oh my! That’s a lot of requests. But, if you know me, you know that I tend to do things in cycles. I’ll eventually get them all caught up. Maybe my friends were right when they said: You are too ADD!
P.S. (Ironically, I have about 7 tabs going right now. Yes, I’m bouncing around them all. Thought that was funny when I realized how it fits in with what I just wrote.)

I don’t know if anyone else feels this way about losing teeth but it really freaks and grosses me out that we lose our teeth as children. I HATED how it felt when my teeth were almost ready to come out. I played the role of the tooth fairy for my daughter but to this day, I still get freaked out when kids show me their tooth is loose!

I have the tendency to think others read my mind about what I’m going to do next. I know I plan out what the agenda is in my head
and then I look at you like you’re the crazy one
for not knowing what I was thinking!
Huh, how dare you!
i'm not pointing fingers Pictures, Images and Photos

I would like to end this with a quote.

Hope you have a GREAT week!

So often times it happens
that we live our lives in chains

And we never even know we have the key.

Lyrics from Already Gone, peformed by the Eagles for their 1974 On the Border album
